Sleeve Styles

Cap Sleeves
is a very short, rounded sleeve that barely covers the top of the shoulder. It will best accentuate long and slender arms as well as small shoulders.

Tulip Sleeves
is commonly a short sleeve with a more subtle design. The overlapping design of the sleeve typically resembles a tulip petal which is why it is also named as the petal sleeve. This sleeve style is flattering on any arm shape and size and can absolutely work well with both modern and simple flower girls dresses and gowns.

Short Sleeves
this sleeve style has ends running mid-way between the elbow and the shoulder. This simple design is great for a bit of a cover up. The cap and the tulip sleeves are shorter variations of this sleeve style.

Long Sleeves
Description

Bell Sleeves
is a long sleeve that is fitted from the shoulder and gently flares onwards. It has a deep armhole, tapering towards the wrist. The bell sleeve is very similar to the poet sleeve, but has a “cleaner look”, most often without ruffles.

Juliette Sleeves
is a long, tight sleeve that puffs at the shoulders then becomes fitted around the arm. Great for petite to medium-built shoulders as it accentuates the slenderness of the arms but may not be dramatic for large arms because the puffed-top and the tight arms will create a more heavy shoulder.
