What is the difference between "Apple Red" and "Valentine Red" ?

Or "Blush" and "Soft Pink"?

The truth of the whole matter is that there is no standardized set of names for colors.  Designers give names to their colors each season to evoke the emotions they want you to experience.

So – "Robin’s Egg Blue" with one designer’s garments may be nearly identical to "Ice Blue" from another.  There is no way to know.

That’s it’s only possible to MATCH garments if you purchase them from the same company at the same time.  Remember – you can also purchase matching fabric in most cases.

Don’t try to MATCH garments from different manufacturers.  This just doesn’t often work.  What you need to do then is – COORDINATE.

Perhaps this may not be so difficult or important if you are coordinating cummerbunds for the Groomsmen with the gowns of your Brides Maids because these are fairly small accessories.

Larger "pieces of fabric", however, need to look really good together for the benefit of the overall look of your wedding party – and your pictures.  Coordinating colors is the key here.
